my new boat christening
Jun 30th, 2010, 1:46am

Today, I acquired a classic 13' Sailboat, a Sparkman and Stephen's Blue J. all summer long and into the fall. I scraped, varnished and polished the wood and the brass hardware. Laying on a perfect coat of marine paint. Finally Memorial Day came and the good weather. I could not better way to christen my sailboat with the company of a wonderful companion and as we christen the boat hull to then christen her bottom as well. We trailer the boat to Sultan, WA and then up the Sultan Basin Rd to the very end. It is the biggest lake in that county. The lake only allows non powered boats and we unload it and go for a sail. Finding a private spot on the lake is easy since it is surrounded by dense Forrest.
We have dined on oyster, prawn and suchi and warm saki (unless you hate seafood) then we had a fruit and veggie tray and homemade tomatoe soup. In the shallow water she takes a paper cup of wine and says "I christen you Sea Elvis" and pours the wine over the bow. As she leans over the bow for the christening, I reply "I christen you first mate and her bathing suit bottoms go around her ankles exposing her birthday suit. It may seem like a water bed moment with her exposed bottom bobbing up and down with the boat, but she shivers as my paper cup of wine is poured over her buns and the spanking begins. She grips the bow but the boat and the water supports her. As she is spanked the boat wants to move, but one hand to spank and the other to hold the bow line. After the last swat she slips into the cool waters that cool her buns and I hold her in the shallow waters. We toast to nature, toast to sailing, toast to each other, toast to great times together and to more............................................................
The boat is real, maybe she is too. I hope I meet her this next year.
