At that time I was making spanking video and she loved spanking video. So when she passed away, I lost an important link to this group.<br />As far as discussions go, I have no desire to butt heads with you or anyone else online. I think it would have helped if we all welcome discussion and tolerate differences.<br />A good example, but not pointed at anyone in particular is that the dinners are too far away from me. Also, I do not play in public. Spanking is a very intimate and personal thing for me (not implying it is different for others), so I do it in private. I would do it in public if we had considerable private experience. <br />There are many who see public spanking as the primary purpose of this group or are critical if people associate it as a form of sex or bdsm.<br />These are all questions that we make up for ourselves. Instead of taking issue and feeling that the palms needs to be defended, I suggest that allowing the people who want to discuss, discuss and those that want to control discussion, absent themselves instead of telling people they are wrong about their personal feelings, opinions and convictions.<br />It may be in posting this that someone will take offense (no offense purposed) and tell me that my opinions are wrong.<br />In society we can choose to extend Grace toward each other and disagree in a civil way and possibly learn something in the process.<br />When the thought police are on patrol, it is stifling. After 9 plus years of going to dinners and hosting after dinner parties, I am going to take a break. This does not mean that you the members of the group are not important to me and to Grayce. I value our group and the friendships it brings a great deal. But its time for me to take a break from being as active. In addition as many of you know we have moved recently so, after dinner parties are no longer possible at our place.<br /><br />The Palms Seattle will still be having dinners every 2nd Saturday of each month and everyone is welcome as always. But others will be hosting, as to after dinner parties, I encourage you all to consider opening up your home for those and for regular parties. For now no after dinner parties are planned.<br /><br />I also want to encourage you to contribute to supporting the group. We need to bring chat back as it’s a great way for new members to get educated to the group. I hope you all will think about and discuss improvements on the Forum Board and at future dinners.<br /><br />I also want to encourage all of you to contribute to other discussions on the forum too. <br /><br />I shall be attending some dinners so hope to see you all soon.
