I scraped, varnished and polished the wood and the brass hardware. Laying on a perfect coat of marine paint. Finally Memorial Day came and the good weather. I could not better way to christen my sailboat with the company of a wonderful companion and as we christen the boat hull to then christen her bottom as well. We trailer the boat to Sultan, WA and then up the Sultan Basin Rd to the very end. It is the biggest lake in that county. The lake only allows non powered boats and we unload it and go for a sail.
